927 and super techniplate are castor synthetic blends. I see no advantage to using them in a chainsaw. In bikes operated in high load conditions they have some merit.
Does 927 mix with methanol?

Special thanks @junkman he makes these take downs possible

Schaeffers full synthetic (not what tree monkey uses). Run 32:1, 91 eth free. 2 gallons approx 12-13 tanks.

Saw ran very well on this stuff. Ring grooves very very clean relative to other oil take downs I've done.

ok just mixed up 1.5 gallons of red armor mixed 32:1. I used all I had left, so couldn't do the normal 2 gallons. Stuff looks like Koolaid! lol

This stuff is $85 per gallon .......

works out to 14.04 a quart. if you buy 12 quarts from the factory. If you can find a retailer I'm sure it's cheaper. Scott sells the syn blend version "7000" (which he uses) for like 9 per quart.

Meets NMMA TC-W3; JASO FC, FD; ISO-L-EGC;ISO-L-EGD; and API-TC.

edit: I found a retailer where I can get it for around $12-13 a quart.

I would point out that's it's impossible for one oil to meat both TCW3 and the Jaso or ISO air cooled standards.
Amsoil in the past made the same bogus claims.

10 tanks red armor 32:1 in muff modded 661. Quite impressive. Lighting wasn't the greatest with the camera so I did a video instead. For those with a short attention span I edited it down as much as I could. So you'll just have to tough it out for a minute 45 sec. check the ring grooves out!

Looks good Julian. How do you think this RA compares to other oils you have tested?
How did the saw run when you were using this mix? Powerwise and lubrication wise?
