Billings is like the tropics compared to where I live now... no Chinook winds in Upper MI and our January average temp is nearly 20 degrees colder than Billings. Plus we average 170" of snow a year, which doesn't melt until spring vs 50" for billings. Billings record snowfall was 100" in 2014. I have seen many winters with double that and a few with triple. 300" inches of snow sucks as does 6 months of nasty weather.If you move to Billings, bring your electric blanket. COLD AS HELL in the winter!
