Today was get my OPE equipment ready for the summer day .
I had not yet fueled my new Shindawa BT802 back pack blower yet so because it will see periods where it will sit unused , it and a few other machines will be using Tru Fuel or the like because of periods between use . With this first fill I added some Red Armor for break in and it mixed real well with the Tru Fuel 50:1 mix and burnt very clean . The 79.2cc engine seemed to run really well and restarts were easy . It made quick work of blowing some leaves and dust from my carport and down the driveway :)

Found another new one (at least to me) at Fred Meyer's yesterday. Got 1 to try out at some point.

Gonna be running vp for the next 5 gallons at least. Ran a tank through my fs90 the other day. Seemed just fine at 40:1. Didn't notice an offensive smell at least. If it holds up well in everything I'll switch to it just for price and it's super easy to grab while I'm at Walmart.

lol I guess I will stick with VP for now until I am close to one. I have one more 2.6 ounce of red armor gonna save it for after those 5 gallons of VP in case there is any new carbon build up

And not sure if this has been brought up here but for carbon removal has anyone sprayed a little water through the carb while running?

I know on cars lots of folks use sea foam right in the carb? Smokes like crazy then runs like new ? Have to run at full throttle in cara to keep from dying ? Anyone done this ?

Little carbon isn't hurting anything. If it's that wet to wash it off you're way rich or not getting any load.
What do you use if you get a new to you saw that's been way to rich when you get it ? Thanks
