I agree, a plug chop on a saw is pretty much a average overall on how the saw is running. I agree this is the best method on running a easy accurate chop. Overall richness or leaness will show up when ran all day. Problems that leave questions is when you open it up, is the initial surge of gas that may cause a plug discoloration but burns off hopefully after WOT. Nobody runs WOT all day without letting off haha. Shoot for chocolate brown, but always remember a tad rich won't kill you or the saw. Good thread here.That is why i just pull them out after a day of work to see how they look ,if getting a clean or sooty general burn .I am going to try to lean out the saber some more ,but i am at 15300 right now on a 440 hybrid ,try 500 more rpm see if cleans it up .The finger ports seem to make the insides wetter than my other saws .
