Noticed lately 40/1 that I've always used is much more recommended the last few years even the cheap stuff and canned fuel is readily available wonder if manufacturers are finally learning.View attachment 55140
I just run the cheapest pump gas and red armor 40/1 in all mine there was a little soft sludge but not muchI've got one saw that I put together and only ran on canned VP fuel 40:1. No pump gas yet. There was carbon in less than one tank in the exhaust port.
That's a quart lol somebody has 5.00 a gallon tsc or bridgeport equipment can't remember i have like 10 gallons though. That poulan synthetic 40:1 oil is pretty good from i hear. I picked some up last season but haven't ran any yet. I'm pretty sure it's manufactured by husqvarna. Looks like the bar oil is $4 a gal. there too, I'd be buying a bunch of that as well.

U would be suprised at what all he has from saws, trimmers, blowers, mowers, etc. As he has a lawn business. He has several older huskies he has bought and redone that I know of. I would imagine he puts more through a trimmer in a week than I run in a yearDoesn't Jake burn most of his mix through a Lawnboy that doesn't see anything more than 3500 RPM ?
Gore would be proud of u for admitting u r responsible for , " The Inconvienent Truth"!!!!my zero turn burns the most per day followed by the lawn boys and the hand helds though my back pack blower is thirsty and drinks fuel if ran wide open for a period of time.

Looks like it was changed to a standard PIB/mineral blend like many oils nowadays. It's probaly OK,but I can't say for certain without running it, which I don't really have a desire to do. Mostly because it's not available near me.I love it. Im interested to hear Ben's thoughts on the new formulas blend
Ya hes still full of *s-word and blowin smoke. Theres not 1 dealer in my area that carries Red Armor and its because people wont pay for it. Of course he wants u to buy where his profit margain is higherSo maybe the dealer wasn't full of it?
