What oil is best? and what ratio?

I am going to buy some more Shindaiwa Red Armor this week.

Id use either of thoso also.

Actually may have found my oil after all this time.

Klotz Orginal has been about perfect to me for tune,smell and protection at 32:1.


I really like this stuff..for anyone that does not like R50.. this stuff has a different racey smell and is worth a shot

I see more equipment in my shop with plugged screens and stuck rings thats running Stihl Ultra than any other oil by far

stihl builds good equipment but there oil sucks clogged spark arrestor screens and choked exhaust ports.
crap oil at a high price.

so i know what oils are good.

Yup. I hear you. I used Stihl orange bottle oil for about 20 years in my Stihl 029, and never had an issue. Saws never blew up.
That was all before I met these forums. Lol

i ran supertech outboard oil at 32:1 last year at 12$ per gallon no problems here and everything is clean.
ran the cheapest pump gas at times.

That's the same problem with most oils. Ultra worked fine for me, but just smells horrible.
