What oil is best? and what ratio?

I know , makes me sick the prices you guys get stuff for . Have to do a Michigan run in the spring and stock up on some stuff , maybe even streak the crowd at the Imlay City fairgrounds again

Stuff that doesn't make a saw lock up is a plus....what oil you running when it is that cold down there.

Ive never noticed if it separated or I never had any problems if it did.

I've been running this stuff for a few months and really like how it burns

I bought some Castrol 2T straight mineral oil $5.50 a quart. Nothing has blown up. It's blue like Saber.

Same reason I never tried. Said 0 rust inhibitors

I like the idea/name of SinGuard oil. Used by Catholics everywhere.

Well, my 272xp has a broken trigger latch. While I have da tank off I'm gonna strip it down n pop da jug to hogout da intake,exhaust n advance timing.. Been running dominator for bout 9 months now if I remember rite.
272 has sat in shop-Garage, mix in it-unfogged.....crash test dummy..
Will snap a pic of innards and post it.
If crank or bearings ain't rite, it goes to me buddy to split it, then we would have in-depth pics post mortium.

Most air cooled oils don't have dedicated rust inhibitors. The calcium and magnesium based detergents can and do neutralize some combustion generated acids, which helps prevent corrosion, but that's not their primary job.
