I'm still at 32:1 with Klotz Original...nothing locked up, the smell is way less offensive than R50. Everything seems go be lubed well

It works quite well for me

This is why some bike oils aren't great in saws. @Wolverine I ended up cleaning it up best I could. Funny part is I knew what it was when I was grinding on the cylinder by the smell. LOL

Shiet smells so good tho! Looks like we're going to have to find some red armor sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the pics Mike.

I mean how many of us have rah R50 at 32:1 with no problems?

I agree though, some bike oils at 32:1 are a bit much. R50 would be on the list I would say 40:1 would be better suited sometimes.

I bet most were so rich they didn't even come close to burning.

So out of the Klotz products it appears the lesser rpm oils like Benol and Original are better for our application?

Kind if strange over the years we were after the highest rpm oil out there.

What's your take on The RPM ratings for Benol and Original Mike lol ?

Kind of think they burn somewhat complete. Jason loves Benol and his saws look good in it.

Super Tech has issues burning, that is almost fact

I tried r50 at 50:1 once years ago and couldn't keep my saw tuned. It was cooler weather in the fall and I was at 7000 feet or so elevation but just was not at all happy with it in my saw. Just my experience with it tho. Only ran one tank of it and made the trip to town to get more saber and all was normal again. R50 is just a very heavy thick oil that has its application in high heat situations so nothing against it either just doesn't work for my needs in a saw. My banshee and cr250 get a strict diet of it at 40:1 and love it in that application. And when I run out of r50 for the bike I go to castor 927 which would be the maxima version of benol
