What oil is best? and what ratio?

My dealer wants $14 a qt. for Saber and im not supporting him. I get it online with my Amsoil preferred membership for $9 shipped to my door.

That's cheap compared to the Stihl oil sitting on the shelf right next to it.

I wouldn't pay that much either

Thats why he can sell it, even at that price. They recommend it over Ultra.

Just the opposite if u run rich IMO. U wont make carbon and wash the piston instead of burning the oil and producing carbon

You don't, you want it to combust and burn completely

Its what u look for as a sign of complete combustion meaning the oil isnt impeding the combustion process. If the oil isnt combusting completely it wont produce carbon on top of the piston and performance is more than likely suffering

On top of the piston but not in the ring lands. The piston crown should be dry and produce some hard dry carbon on the crown but not in the ring lands. Thats where u run into problems

Oils that combust really well and produce good dry carbon on the crown that Ive used r Saber, r2, and kl200. Red Armor combusts well but whatever detergents they use cleans extremely well
