What oil is best? and what ratio?

Well I finally got to try some of the amsoil . it tunes well. in fact didn't even need to change the tune going from the red armor to the saber . seems ok so far. lol

What ratio Corey on the Saber?

I just got done with a gallon of Saber at 40;1 using VP SEF 94. I have to be honest and say that I am not overly impressed. Ran fine, but nothing special. I kind of like Motul 800 at 40:1 same fuel better. I still prefer Klotz for simmer usage.

Bad. Makes a buildup very quick and will stick a ring if u dont keep an eye on it. Ditch that crap and get kl200 which is Klotz original techniplate

I've seen it be nasty dirty before but not in any of my stuff with about 6 gallons through the 660 and 2 in the fs85

U must be running extremely rich? The inside of that muffler looks very wet?

Your right it was rich was breaking it in and wasn't running it hard at the time.

It's now tuned and exhaust is dry. I'll report what I find after next 5 gallons.

Ya. When u lean her on out and put a load on it keep an eye on it. May work for u though

For what its worth I run opti2 at 50:1 , not there recommend rate at 70:1. Have been running it for 10+yrs, no oil related issues.
Wont know how long they will run on that cause they burnt in the shop fire[emoji22]

What do you run Saber mixed at? Are your saws ported or stock?
