That's a pretty good price for 50 gallons. I wonder what mix of oil they are using?
1 gal is 128oz ÷ 2.6 oz @ 50to1 ratio = almost 50 gallons on mixThat's a pretty good price for 50 gallons. I wonder what mix of oil they are using?

Funny you mention that. I ran out of gas in my Honda powered pressure washer last year so I filled the tank up with maybe a quart of Klotz Super Techniplate at 32:1. I ran that tank empty and then filled it with straight fuel. Used the it several more times then added Stabil to the tank and winterized it. Pulled it out this spring and I will be dammed if it didn't smell like Klotz for the entire tank of fuel as well as the next.Years ago, I was using Klotz oil. I mixed it in the red gallon jugs. I was fixing to top off a trimmer and when pouring I could not tell the gas was mixed. Looking in the red jug, I could not tell if the gas was mixed. Under the circumstances, I poured that gallon in a mower I had at the time. Mixed a new batch and proceeded on.
The mower had about a 4 gallon tank, so that gallon I poured in was mixed with more gas. Long story short, that mower for 5 or 6 tanks later still smelt like Klotz when using. To this day, I still wonder for such a diluted amount, how did it last so long? Thinking back on this, it may have been the super techniplate which has castor oil, I believe.
Sure thing! I was only joking but if you want me to put one to work i'm gameYou want to run one with a 2 piece head for a week if I can get it done? I want to see if it will hold up in a real world application. I won't have time to set up and mill for a day when I get it done til I find more suitable logs.
Diesel is transported in 100 gal tank, i never have any in jugs so it's all good... Valid point thoughRed dye is the same color as off road diesel here ,not sure if i would want the same color mix as the diesel if i was not filling up the machines .
Where?I bought 38.4oz of Red Armor for 26.99. Thats about the same price as 1l of 800t , K2, or H1R. That will make 12 gallons at 38:1
Group buy!Note at the bottom says the only ship 55 gal qty's
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/191732339448Where?
Played 5 hour round golfing on greens stimping at 13 today, couple loads of cherry, Mexiacan food, too many pins coladas... Fast eBay sale. Don't have enough will power to not buy. Maybe I can add some blue dye and make purple so @junkman doesn't shun me.Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/191732339448

It will be taken care of. I don't beat my saws around. Definitely wouldn't someone else's. I did throw a 661 a few times recently though.... Lol. But it has been hot and a saw should start in less than a dozen cranksI do want to send one to someone who puts a good bit of fuel through one a week.

I like dolmar synthetic as well. To me it has a pleasent smell, much better than ultra. A few years back i was getting red dyed orange bottle stihl oil.... Had to look through the little clear strip on the side of the bottle to distinguish whether it was the normal or the red. I liked that stuff but if the dealer had 50 6 packs on the shelf you may have had to pick up half of them to find one with red. It was around the time ultra was released iirc
That same oil here messed up several saws that was always run on the original orange bottle. It seemed as if it decarboned the piston and carbon streaked the cylinders.[/QUOTE
Zero issues with it here. I know the red colored stuff didn't last long. At the time my dealer had said he didn't know why they didn't make the ultra red dye instead of sending out orange bottle with red oil. If the red dye stihl oil was available here I would run it.
