Test this.

Read his last two sentences again for all those who do not understand why a hated fuel can make more power. I have never been able to pound that into the heads of half the racers I've met. They just can not grasp it. They will insist that gas will make more power in the same displacement. Plus they miss all the other added benefits.

Try this sick mix for added power. Be warned your conventional (gas) fuel system will hate you if you leave it soak.

A gallon of E-85 mixed with walmart supertec 50-1 then add more (oil, your choice) I chose synthetic to get to 35-1, jump up the carb about a third in size. More ignition timing helps. Promotes smiles every time :)
Some go boom. Your results may vary lol

Is this the right oil and ratio?[/QUOTE]
I would use klotz original or super techniplate to mix with that.

My brother runs E85 because of boost.
20lb of boost even with the ignition retarded a mile will still promote detonation. Plus E85 is a lot cheaper than 105 race gas.

With the car running in the shop the burning corn smell is ruff

I think epoxy and/or anodized will make it possible to run E85 all the time in small engines for OPE. You know the big corporations are working on it everyday now. The brass is all we have left and the damn fuel caps. Are those non flippys E85 friendly? You have to see where I'm going with this. It's been on my mind for years now. I found alcohol and methanol to be a LOT of fun in the 80's. Plus, pushing things beyond there limits is fun fun fun! and a good learning experience.

Ran gas cocktails 24:1. KL-200 for oil IMO

This was when switching to alky/nitro. Went with a kart nitro sprint mix made in Va with 8 ingredients.

You could hear the run on while I was working on tuning it in.

the 90 octane E0 i burn contains 5% MMT and 5% MTBE according to ashland oil so it must be good stuff.
my old truck runs great on it.
E10 E15 E85 is what i avoid.

I doubt your gas has MTBEor MMT in it. MTBE has been phased out in gas and 25 states ban it outright, including Kentucky. MMT was never widely added to gas in the US and also has a EPA mandated limit of 1/32 of a gram per gallon.

Hello. What's your opinion mastermind? I've always ran my mix at 32:1 and plan on continuing that.
