I like listening to the rev boost when limbing. This one will wear a 20" Cannon Supermini in 3/8 for limbing and wood 20" and under
60 cc is a good size for do it all ,guys run 28 inch bars around here on them ,i think the 562 at the saw shop even has a wrap handle ,some faller's do production logging with them even .

I didn't care for the lucas when I ran it in the 661. It seemed really dry for 32:1.

wonder if the 100LL has something to do with the storage? Or maybe a reaction between the lucas and 100LL while sitting?
100LL is probaly the best storage gas you can get your hands on. It will not form gums or varnish. I say this based on expiereance.

No I honestly aint. Lol
I ran a half tank of lucas and used almost the whole quart of valvoline so i could have it backwards,I ran some royal purple too before I ran switched back to benol. I mix 2.5 gallons every other day and run different saws everyday so it's very possible I switched up what I ran.

I'm done switching oil now,I found nothing to make me change.
When all your choices are poor that's what you get. How about Using an oil intended for air cooled OPE for a change?

Don't you run bike oil?
I can't remember much about oil but I do remember you telling me to run lucas.
Turns out that somehow it is even worse than benol.

I've never had a single problem with what I use, I only tried something else because I was told mine is bad.

I keep hearing that nobody has ran there oil long enough to know if it's good or not,I have used the same oil for a very long time without any problems,I've broke in over a hundred saws at the minimum without problems.
Is that long enough for me to be able to make a decision on whether it's good or bad?

A local dealer said they could get me a gallon of red armor for $80. That is like .62 a ounce so $1.86 per gallon at 42.5 : 1 Is that any good?

I work on saws all the time that live and died on 50:1 stihl oil and there dust dry inside.

It sure seems that some oil leaves more behind than others but I'm no oil pro I just know what I see everyday and saws ran on stihl are dry and the ones ran on other oil aren't.
Be a hell of a coincidence that every saw ran on stihl oil was operated different than every saw that run another oil before they were shut off.

Been running the piss out of the 661 with Super M at 32:1.

Muffler is not wet, piston has some oil on the skirt after a good long loaded cut.

It has no smell and tunes easy in customer saws.

For a semi synthetic, I like it.can not really see the crown but from what I see it is leaving a dry crown and decent wash.

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

Died on 50:1 dry inside sounds like it doing what 50:1 is designed for no smoke no lube everything burned off. Happy EPA. Now go back to 40:1 or 32:1 with Stihl oil would you see them on your work bench now?

They would be fine with more oil.

Lucas is better than Benol for a saw. Just about any aircooled oil is better than Benol in a saw.
