I may check the tool truck see what a infa red heat gun costs ,i need one for work anyways to check the tow trucks exh manifolds to see if firing evenly ,i am impressed i bet i have burned 5-6 gallons with the stock muffler now ,paint is still on the cover ,i threw the dual port cover on last night ,it did pick up some power ,but my ears were ringing after that pass so i put the stock cover back on ,i lost some grunt choking it down for sure ,but when running a saw for 3 hours strait ,i will take the quietness over some power .
The milling 660 is ported for milling also if that matters .

I will take my scope camera home and check the piston top see what the mill saw looks like inside ,try to get some images .
Lower temps with saber tells me your making less power or your tuning is different. Most likely the latter.

Strangely, you are the only one in the history of two cycle motor that has found benol to be perfectly clean.
A guy posted pics of a 361 on this page the other day run on Benol and it looked terrible like I knew it would.
I never said it's perfectly clean,I said it's not bad.

Don't mix benol too rich or it will leave heavy deposits.
What's with you bwalker? I just found a 13 year old nitromethane thread where you elbow your way through the crowd with your bully attitude. Here you are still rudely acting like you know it all.

It would take some doing to find a worse oil for a chainsaw application and for many reasons.
And what you have said is your mufflers are always dry and your pistons are clean. You have repeated this many times.

It will leave heavy buildup at any ratio, because that's the nature of castor.
I haven't bullied anyone..

If your talking about my 361, for the time I had it it was ran on stihl ultra maybe 6 gallons and maybe 2 gallons of Benol. I'm not sure what the previous owner ran in it. I can try and find out. But in my 7910 that I ported I've ran probably 3 or 4 tanks of Benol at 40 /1. The exhaust port has no buildup and is still shiny. Piston skirt on exhaust side has a nice film of oil. I've not looked at the top of piston yet. 8m not saying Benol is the greatest, but it doesn't look to bad if tuned right. I've recently switched to hp2 after seeing Redbull test. I had some on hand so what the heck.

So far my weedeater likes the hp2. Seems to rev up quicker and has higher rpm. Only ran a tank of the hp2 in a ported 385.

Wasnt gonna pull the 562 down this quick after only 2 tanks but wanted to delete the gasket which ended up at .019 and take thoso huge ridges out of the bottom quad transfer entrance before I cut several trees with it Friday. 87 efree with kl200 @40to1Screenshot_2016-07-20-16-07-06.png20160720_151310.jpg 20160720_161438.jpg

I didn't think you could do a gasket delete on a 562?
I'd take a Cratex to the intake port edges while I was in there.
The quad entrance edges got a good 320 sanding mandrel to them before I went back together. No edges and smooth flowing now

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions based on such little time. For all you know that carbon on the dome could have been from the storage coating the factory uses.
When I tear mine down next week I'll post some pictures. It's been ran on K2 for a long time.
