When they came out with Direct fuel injected outboard motors,The oil manufactures had to change the boat oil to withstand much higher temperatures,because the motors were failing on the old boat oil.just saying.

you know what is funny i contacted lawnboy about what oil to use in my 2 stroke mowers and they said any oil with a jaso rating of FD or iso egd
