Tuned Rich. Too Rich.
If You are referring to my post, it is my PS-6400 and she's right at 13.4k WOT no load.
She 4-stokes with little load and cleans up beautifully under normal and full load.
I don't intend to tune her into the rpm limiter just to get her a little bit leaner!

Besides, that is not fuel but rather expelled 2-stroke oil.

Wonder if the viscosity's on the msds specs are the same between the dolmar and makita branded oils ?

Where could one look those specs up?

There is a definite difference between the Dolmar and the Makita branded oils!

I kinda like the Makita oil as it shows some sort of "detergent features", but that feature also makes for a messy looking saw.

I know this doesn't help you but the Dolmar/Makita oils sold here in the US is the same. Blended and bottled by the Spectrum Corp.

So the Dolmar & Makita oil sold in the US is not the same as the Dolmar & Makita oil sold in Europe?

If that is the case then the formulation could very likely be different.

My Dolmar bottle claims made in Germany.
My Makita bottle doesn't state any origin.

The Dolmar oil I have claims "partially synthetic", that wasn't the case on any of Dolmar bottles I used thus far.
It could be a new blend, I'll see how it behaves once I start using it.

The only Dolmar/Makita oil I've ever seen Is the synthetic blended and bottled by Spectrum Corp here in the USA.
The base oil is ester, a di(2-ethylhexyl)dimerate. (45-57%)
The rest is solvent (22-27%) additives (5-12%) dye, fuel stabilizer, etc.

Spectrum blends and bottles oils for Bailey's Woodlandpro, Shindaiwa, Echo, Poulan Pro, Dolmar/Makita syn oils and Husky semi-syn. Spectrum now makes the Yamalube 2-R oil now too.

The red Armor I am running is starting to leave oil out of the exhaust on my 192. I got it tuned to the point I don't feel comfortable tuning it much leaner. I do not have this with the Dolmar synthetic but the red armor leaves more oil on the piston (on the exhaust side)

My own experience with two stroke oils:
Used klotz super techniplate and original techniplate with very good results, even in two mercury outboards(gasp!). Smells great at start up but goes downhill after warm up.
Original is probably my favorite oil but very hard to source in my neck of the woods.

Gave k2 a whirl, good results but still bad odor. Belray h1r, changed tune a little, still smelled bad.

Tried Orange bottle stihl dino with great results but stinks to high heaven. Husky xp same results, probably worst smell on clothes after running of any oil I've used.

Amsoil interceptor and saber, good results also but smelly.

Just started using mobil racing 2t red dyed version. So far all ope running fantastic and it's by far the least offensive odor of any I've ran. This one I may stick with if I can find a good supplier.

I've never seized a two stroke engine, and I've never had anyone I know seize one due to the oil they mixed with. I've got an old lawn boy two stroker that's got a million hours on it and I usually just run stale mix in it (the can that the old mix goes into)
Can't kill that damn mower. Always starts on the second or third pull cold.

My only experience mixing was 20 years ago. I mixed synthetic up and poured it on top of non synthetic. One of those may have been castor oil and it was in the winter. I don't think it mixed well. I think something separated from something causing something to stick to something lol.

What's in that jar? I'm guessing it ain't BlackBerry jam.
Never saw that outdoor pennzoil but I know I have an unopened yellow quart of the boat oil in the garage somewhere. Can't figure out why I never used it.

Just got back from spending several weeks at the mountain clearing an area for my workshop and see that we're up to page 279. I had a 2 gallon can of premix that I found. I had mixed it two years ago. it was Sunoco 260 GTX mixed with K2 at 32 to 1. Normally I would dump old gas into one of the tanks on my 97 F350 but I had the diesel with me this time. Decided to see how it worked. Filled the tank on one of my chainsaws and fired it up. Ran beautifully. Used the whole two gallons with excellent results. The gas had been stored in a metal type 2 sealed gas can.

Again, the crux of the matter is known good gas with known good oil. Sunoco 260GTX is stated to be good for two years in a sealed container. This proved to be so. The Optima is stated to be good for three years. As much as I say that I will run my saws out before storing them, having ten different saws at three locations in two states, that does not always happen.

My Husky 326ls spooges no matter what oil or ratio i use. I've read about it being common with this trimmer, it come out where the muffler is crimped together and gets all over.
My 323L has spooge leaking no matter what I try. I just set it on a rag when I'm done and don't worry about it anymore. Kinda like saws leaking bar oil, you just know it will happen.

if you braze the muffler around the seam it doesn't splooge as bad.

I've heard of that oil from the junk man I think? Is it pricy? Availability? I like the mobil a lot but it's hard to find.

I can check with my Mobil bulk plant and see if they could get a few cases for me if you are having trouble finding the Mobil 2t in your area. Don't know how much shipping would be but I can check with the bulk plant if you want or need. @rjames
