What oil is best? and what ratio?

OEM also says 50:1. I agree with what you're saying though, but i don't think Paragon meant to buy boat oil

chit happens i don't think both should be labeled as saber one should say outboard and the other say air cooled.
but there is water cooled engines that require jaso fd oils watercraft i believe.

Truth be told I ran a fair bit of saber outboard in some ope before I knew better. It no damage but I wasn't running them as hard as I do now. I think you will be fine to finish the bottle. However if you have a boat motor or pwc just use it in them.

Ain't gonna lie.....
I mixed my last bit of MOTUL and needed some mix a few weeks ago.
On the top shelf sat what was left of some Klotz Snowmobile SuperTechniplate.
Yup, you guessed it.....it got mixed with some 100LL and ran in the 7900, 346, 661 & 461 for the day.

Only thing I noticed is I had my ski out yesterday, the outboard version has a little bit of a ammonia smell. I got some mystik sea and snow to try in it this season. We will see I got a case of 4 gallons for a $100 shipped to my door.

That ammonia smell is caused by the nitrogen based dispersents used in all tcw3 type oils.

I mixed more saber up ,under light load it will spooge wet around the muffler exits,under heavy load it burns dry ,i bet in a weedeater the saber ratios may be ok ,i would not try a saw that rich though,

My saws get 40:1 everything else gets 50:1
