Same list of 2t oil. left side is sorted by visc , right side sorted by flash pt. (lowest to highest)

dumonde is near impossible to get a hold of. So no idea what that number is yet. Several of us are trying to find out.

I would think VP fuel would have been clean. The HP2 stuff wouldn't wipe off on my finger through the exhaust port. We'll see what the 20:1 does in it. The R50 wouldn't wipe off but it was just a thin layer. Nothing else was building up on top. I sold all the saws run on 800 a lot last summer. I've not run any in 6-7 months.

I made that statement in 2013 and learn alot since then. I believe the 110 is great fuel but made for a race car with that distallation curve in mind. You would probably be better off using the vp 108 designed for our application? The 800t is a great oil but if u have to have the best protection available then probably best to pour the 800t out and go with klotz super

I'd run 87 and oil of choice. Really if you're not milling I don't see the 800 doing any better than any of the other oils. If you're not needing that extra protection from heat then it's just wet everywhere keeping combustion from happening as complete which is probably robbing some power.

Mike I noodle alota bigger rounds when cutting say 25" to 40" rounds. Do u think thats anywhere close to the load of milling?

I'll get some 2R Yamalube and compare it to 800 in timed cuts to see if the higher viscosity of 800 is hindering power.

Several tests I've done showed 110 octane was greater than 10% faster than 93 non-e in my 660. I was cutting a very dry water oak with full skip square ground chain. Compression is greater than 210 psi.

But everyone else that has tested it shows just the opposite?

In autotune saws I lost 10% from 87 to 110. Plus I ended up with one scored piston from it and K2 or 800 not mixing well with the race gas. I can't remember for sure.

Both octanes were within an average of 150 rpms of each other. Both were mixed with 800 at 32:1. The 93 was higher.

In my 036 using 110 seemed I lost power but it's a lower compression. I'll do more testing with octanes and oils when I get my ported 372 in. I'll use the 372 and 660 for testing. I have stihl ultra, 800 off-road, and getting 2R to test. I'll also compare 93 non-E to 110 in both.
