I gots me a new to me Volvo s60r. Should I go with full synthetic?? HIgh mileage vs extended interval??? Ow30 or 5w year round, or 10w30 for summertime???? Purolator or OEM filter. Or m1 extended life??? Drain though the oil pan or suck it up through the dipstick??? If switching to s full synthetic should I use an engine flush first???? Even with a high pressure turbo?? Castrol, rotella, M1, royal purple, Amsoil or ??? I know you guys live for this stuff... Set me straight.
Yes

My 064 seems more crisp on valvoline but I don't think it's the oil,I switched from 93 to 91 when I switched oil.
I bet it does over dirt bike oil.

Ok here you go. Let me know what you think about how the Dolmar synthetic 2 stroke oil. 6 months of use. Last couple of gallons at 42.5 to 1

Looks good to me. FYI Dolmar Makita syn is the same as Bailey's and Alco No Smoke 2 stroke syn.

Over there
I believe Kevin Whindams factory honda said amsoil on the graphics. Think about it .
Its possible i don't notice any difference other they smell a little different.

Amsoil is cheaper here....it's $11.99 a quart and HP2 is $7.99 a pint.

There are probably MANY oils exactly the same except color and the name on the bottle

You want to stay at a ?W30 with the turbo , it'll cook the 20 weight .
How many miles on it and what did the former owner use ? Timing belt been changed ??
15w50 is available now for diesels. I know racers and pullers were making their own blends for years to a thicker weight. A lot fill the water jackets or machine the blocks from solid now.

Yeah, like I said, nothing against guns, its the society that makes good people need to carry them that concerns me.

Kieth, I cant see myself ever making it to America (exchange rate sucks), but if I am ever there I will be looking a few of you up.
I will borrow Ron's 660 and go race Jay :)
I have pistols, rifles, shotguns, and knives and can use too. I'll throw in an axe or two also.

My 064 seems more crisp on valvoline but I don't think it's the oil,I switched from 93 to 91 when I switched oil.

I have always used 98 premium for 2 stoke but all the talk of it being counter productive in a 2 stroke had me buying some BP 91 today to try.

Mixed some at 50:1 with the Ryobi/valvoline green oil for my wipper snipper and it loved it.

Mixed some at 40:1 with the penrite MC2ST I have been using and it made the 066 red light run a lot snappier, it really seemed to bring it to life.

I tipped all the 98 fuel I had in my wife's car and will be switching to BP 91 from here on in

I decided to go with BP as they don't have any ethanol fuel at the local fuel staton

Al the others do and it wouldn't surprise me if they put ethanol fuel in the non ethanol tanks to make some extra money
