Looks like a lean tune? How did the lower-end look with that tune?
Just the opposite. Too rich and still not burnin all the oil but with more use it woulda carboned over. Could be I ran it in smaller wood but best i remember the last several tanks before tearing down was very bigwood. If u lean your saw on out and run the heck out of it or use 40to1 and get her hot that 800 will carbon the piston on your 660

Plenty of oil in the bottom but nothin like Klotz. I took a Stihl blower back apart that had ran nothin but Kl200 @ 42to1 and the bottomend was soakin wet . With Klotz its very apparent when u tear a saw down that its more than enough but with 800 it was kinda like well i guess that will do. Thats the Best way i can explain it and no assuming, speculating, guessing and its very apparent when u see it. I run all my saws on the lean side of 4 stroke out of the cut unless i know im cutting bigwood. With Klotz even at 42to1 the bottom is drippin went

I bought some echo red armor today. Tell me how awesome it is and how I did not waist my money.
It is expensive I want to see how it compares to the Dolmar synthetic
it has a odd smell when it burns and dyes the fuel red it will slowly clean build up inside engines away.

Why are we worried about what's on top of the piston? Shouldn't we be worried about what's below the rings? I don't give a damn what the piston crown looks like, oil is supposed to lube it not clean it.

I just want an oil that lube well, great throttle response, starts easy, and has a tolerable smell.

I don't know if that is good or bad?
I do know it is impossible to find detailed information on Dolmar synthetic.
(Anyone is welcome to prove me wrong )

it is good oil but it is expensive 3.50 per bottle for the 1 gallon mix and 6.00 per bottle for the 2.5 gallon mix.
i say it is comparable to husqvarna xp oil.

Maybe the red color makes it an optical illusion so it looks like there is more than there really is. I doubt they're doing anything that the others aren't doing
I disagree. Jasons is red from the dye but the normal color is basically golden oil color internally. It leaves more oil than others no doubt

Over there
I have no doubt that it does. I was just saying maybe the red color shows up better on the piston and cylinder even when its thin where as maybe the blue or whatever color doesn't show as well.

Maybe i'm totally wrong and just need to shut up[emoji1]
