 Only time I ran 24:1 with modern oils was in a gas race saw.
Since my saws have a "Mastermind" sticker on them I'll stay at 32:1 or more oil. My smaller saws, 021 & 036-ported, will get Motul 710 32:1 soon.

I'm running the Saber and adding about 10% of the Motul 800 to round out the mix at 40:1 .
I think the Motul leaves just a bit more oil film so that's my formula for now . Mixed with non ethanol 91
Shell V power . Mix burns clean and the lawn-boy even likes it :)

At 32:1 it's almost impossible for saw to burn that much oil and in return you have a spotless interior.

At 32:1 some oils do leave a decent wash, the HP2 did not look to bad.

Still though this Benol is fantastic smelling stuff lol

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

Well most of the guys here that can take their saws apart and take a look at what these oils are doing in the bottomend have all said Klotz was lubing the best of any. Not sure what else anyone is lookin for? Good oil in the bottomhalf, smells good, mixes good, runs good, and combust like it should

Cheap, available, and works[emoji3]

I can pull my saws down, i just don' get overly worried about a perfect wash pattern. As long as it lubes good enough and isn't black and gooey like 800, smell isn't a problem and long as it doesn't gag me like R50 or give me a headache like Ultra.
