Oh My
Then quit talking
this is what I started off with. I was 10yrs old. It weighs more than my current 661R. Maybe all this new age plastic light weight sh*t is making us all into pussies!?!?!?
Thanks for the info. The premix Husky stuff @ 50:1

bike oil is not cost effective when looking at a price 25$ liter for motul, belray etc.....
i got this for 28.99 per gallon and i know it will be just as clean as those bike oils but for half or 2/3 the cost,
and my stuff runs much better on this compared to bike oil.

I've ran a truck load of Husqvarna low smoke in trimmers at 50:1 and never had a problem. At least until I caught CAD and found all the oil threads.Low smoke meets FD ratings and XP exceeds FD ratings....supposedly
I ran that oil for a long time, its not as clean as you'd think. Red Armor is much cleaner burningbike oil is not cost effective when looking at a price 25$ liter for motul, belray etc.....

1 gallon mix bottle of red armor is 3.50 each and the 2.5 gallon mix bottle is 6.00 each and the gallon jug is 70.00 each i'll pass.I ran that oil for a long time, its not as clean as you'd think. Red Armor is much cleaner burning
my findings it, depends on the oil and what itis used in, 32 to 1 may be ideal in a saw in one brand but run better 50 to 1 in another brandI'd love to see different mix ratios on a dyno. Like 50:1 vs 32:1 or 40:1 vs 24:1. It would be interesting to see if more oil produced more power?
The common denominator seems to be viscosity. Like Jason found with klotz. It's a thicker oil and 50:1 seems to be more than enough. Where a thinner oil probably needs more like 32:1 to leave a wet crank and piston. That's what I see in my minds little eye anywaysmy findings it, depends on the oil and what itis used in, 32 to 1 may be ideal in a saw in one brand but run better 50 to 1 in another brand
