I think that is a good choice. I'm seeing Saber as a very good oil these days.

40:1 is what I usually mix but had enough for 50:1 in the bottle so I just mixed it.

Everything seems to like it better than the thicker bike oils i've used, except HP2 and Yamalube 2R they ran well on those but they're thinner.

I have a dear friend that has tested a ton of oil in mtronic and Autotune saws. He is seeing them run best on Saber or Husky premix.

Between his tests, and Redbull's, I've decided that I don't know a damn thing about oil and just need to watch and learn.

I don't think its a coincidence that auto tune and Mtronic saws run better on oil blended for OPE

I don't either. I do like that the 2R seems to at least not hurt their performance too much. I have 3 more quarts. lol

I've been very busy over these last couple of years with modding saws. That's a blessing, but it has hindered my ability to do the indepth testing I once did. What you guys have tested over these last few months has really helped me learn. I really appreciate the sharing that has happened since this site started.

Well I am certainly not an oil guru like you guys.

On my 2 auto tune saws ( MMWS 545 and 562xp) I used 3 liters of Yamalube 2R and 562 had a little carbon crust on exhaust port. Saws liked it

Bought a liter of Motul 710 to try. Not too thick of an oil saws ran fine with it. I will see when I use it more.

The saw blended oils also have fuel stabilizers a lot of the bike oils do not have ,which i like now ,because some of my stuff sits more than others .

Is that the XP or Low Smoke oil?
