What oil is best? and what ratio?

Redbull said the fullcomp 404 runs better on the 661than the skip but it may kill the 390. Shoot the skip runs so well on it I really have no need to run fullcomp but I am gonna give her a try. I really didnt buy the 390 to run over 28" either but to run 28 and under with 404 setup to noodle and that skip is wonderful on that setup

I'm a fan of semi skip. It moves chips very well, and less teeth to file.

I was playing with 24" bars one with full skip the other with full comp and in soft wood the skip was faster.

Too many teef to sharpen with full comp when run a long bar .

I like the full skip in softwoods also ,clears the chips better when a long bar is buried .

Finally said screwit and ordered a couple 6-packs of Stihl Ultra off eBay.

I ported a 661 for a friend. It had quite a little bit of run time. Never used anything but Stihl Ultra @ 50:1. It was pretty clean, and had plenty of oil in the bottom end.

I've decided that I don't know chit about oil.

I still run Stihl at 40:1 but I bought some klotz supertech to try at 50:1. This site has got me all fuc***d up! Lol
