I don't worry about hanging one in a transfer, a wide exhaust is were you will get a ring. U could get a ring end in a transfer by widening to much, that's why I like a husky piston in some stihls, great pin location.

Which husky Pistons fit which Stihl's?

I've had a transfer snag one in a stihl. I don't widen them any more. I'll add fingers but not tie them into the main

I learned my lesson years ago about widening those uppers. There's a couple 660's around me with a backwards piston.
I don't know if a 262 piston will work or not.

It won't. Just checked. Pin diameter much larger.

It would have to be sleeved, but I don't think the clip would hold the pin in.

A lot of the stihls and huskies run different sized rod bearings to make up the difference.
