As far as I know (and that's not really that much) it widens the powerband. Treemonkey told me to keep em flat, so I do.
Exactly what I was looking to limit it to, for this thread. Otherwise It will randomly spiral out of control.
I'd like to do the entry angle in a separate thread.
No spiral out of control from here......carry on. Do you have your answer yet? I was only trying to help. And add to the discussion.

Ok I was a bit confused. Tapered timing on them would be what I would use to describe them for relation to the squish band.I'm this thread he is wondering about the angle of the port in relation to the squish band.
Then, he wants to talk about the angle of the roof as it flows through the port.
At least that's what I'm thinking....
Yes, no insult intended at all.No spiral out of control from here......carry on. Do you have your answer yet? I was only trying to help. And add to the discussion.
Ya I think with all that trapped compression and a 52mm piston pushing down on her shes huntin a way to get out??!!!I agree Deets.
I set mine at 118 from the start. Had i thought about it, like you, i would have started out lower just to feel the difference. I can tell you 1* of change on both the ex and trans with both at 16* of blowdown is noticable on a hybrid.
This^^^^Yeah that's what I was trying to say. I was almost ready to draw until I seen this.
