That doesn't sound good. Did you get a picture of what you're talking about?
Sounds like you’ve got an unusable case half bud6202 on the clutch side
Ask Dolmar if that will work...0.1mm of play id say, you think that this wont hold?
I have other spare half but it needs some work
I have major doubts but then again I’ve never tried to do something like that. I’ve tried knurling and Loc-tite sleeve lock and neither kept the bearing from spinning. Maybe your way makes you the new bearing pocket repair guy...never know.0.1mm of play id say, you think that this wont hold?

About 2 to 3 psiCan anyone tell what is the pressure in the crankcase while engine is running, was wondering and couldnt find really an answer.
I've never seen a 359 with a limited coil. Also, did you replace the wallowed out case half?Ok got it running, started after third pull. Cuts well, could be better but ring is not seated yet i guess.
Cant get it fourstroking.. Lol. Limiter coil kicks in.
Doesnt seem that it leaks somewhere, idles nicely.
But screws dont really make a difference
Carb is cleaned, shouldnt be clogged.
Changed carburetor, same thing, L screw works okayish but H screw doesnt do anything... i screwded litterally all the way out and still doesnt run as it should.
Help?
Yup that’s a good technique for tuning. For me, a Tach reading is just nice to know after tuning by ear, but not necessary.Im 99% sure that its not a problem, but ill just replace it just in case to be calm until i fix that other half, needs a bit of tig welding on another spot.
Yeah, after what it go through, cylinder is in pristine shape... i would be an asshat if i destroyed it now.
Will try pressure test first, im interested whats the problem, cannot reaally do vac, no equipment.
But i can surely say that this engine wont suffer heh, i always run them bit richy and 40:1
By the way, when we touched carbs, how do you guys adjust them? Tacho?
I always adjust them so it four-strokes at noload (full throttle), but doesnt in the cut - by sound.
Any flaws in this "technique" ?
