where did you buy the deflector?
Don’t remember if it’s one I made or one I bought from Red97.where did you buy the deflector?
Thanks man. I try sometimes lolThanks anyway, did it with rtv, thin layer and then transfered on hard paper for template for future work.
Xp_Slinger, damn thats some clean work it seems.
Paper prop for tomorrow heh.I put this one on my father in-laws 359. Catalyst divider is just a little behind the muffler seam iirc. Don’t just slap it on there, as you can see you have to watch out for clearance on the side of the crankcase.

I don’t have the saw here but I believe it was around 3/8” tall. I doubt your muffler has a catalyst divider so you shouldn’t need to worry about getting back behind the seam. Can you post a pic of inside the muffler?Paper prop for tomorrow heh.

Can you tell me height of it so it doesnt interfere with crankcase?
Also, i was thinking making 2 holes diameter 0.4" ( 2/5 ") is it ok?

Well it hgas some kind of the divider, main reason why iu want it before seam is because i want it hear ringing! I just love that sound.
I dont want to drill bunch of holes in the divider, i guess its much easier to block 2 small holes on outside wall than 5 on that divider.
If you’re deleting the base gasket you’ll be fine. You raised them back up to same height as with the gasket installed. It’s good you focused on angles because that’s 90% of the magic. Your grinding looks nice and clean by the way. A degree wheel would be a good investment in the future so you can record and adjust timing accurately. Makes the timing aspect repeatable.Think that there is a bit of a carbon buildup.heh.

Ok, today only had time to do a bit of a transfer ports, one transfer almost done(i think).
Tried following guy who made a "First attempt" post about porting a 350, as this is my also First attempt
Tried as much as possible to keep ports angles and stuff, but as bit jumped around i ended up with raised ports by 0.5mm / 0.019", how much is too much?

Anything to improve/fix by the tomorrow?
Yup, definitely want the deflector behind it. Thanks for posting the pic, wasn’t sure what you had inside with that tube outlet type mufflerView attachment 230485 View attachment 230486 View attachment 230487

It’s a little flatter than I would go but should be fine. Don’t forget the chamfer the port edges inside the cylinder. Very very importantFinished ports i guess...
Raised transfers and exhaust by 1 mm.
Is this exhaust port too flat? I heard that its not best to be flat so it doesnt catch a ring.. i dont know how i got it this flat, i even focused on middle area to not make it flat.lol.

Its 65% of the bore by the way.
Can’t tell you if it will slip or not. Are the clutch shoes or drum blueing? Would be a sign of heat indicating slip. But, you can’t rule out operator abuse so give it a try. No harm done if it slips, just be conscious of it. I’ll get a pic of the clutch on my 357 for you soon. Thanks mate, really apreciate your answers.
Ill maybe make it a tiny bit more oval if i had will.
How much of a clutch wear is too much ? This one has almost 2 mm of gap on each side, cant really replace it yet, will it slip?

The crank bearings? Thanks for the pic, well ye best way to check is to run it.
Ill eventually get a new clutch, but with this corona stuff no shippings...
Damn, as i was putting bearings in place, for some reason it had quite some play, tried making shims of alu can but not much luck..
Fu*ck it, i just coated bearing and bearing housing with epoxy glue, put alu shim that covers half of the bearing and hope for the best...
