Tsumara bar curiosity

The tsumara bar tips have standard model number guage and pitch numbers. But beside the tsumara logo on the tip there is another 2 digit number, amd then a letter. I believe it is year made but what's the letter?
I have a replacement tip with 22. E amd the par came with one 23. C

I skimmed by it countless times now I will never be able to do that again. Thanks. Tis a good question and I would venture to ""guess"" it is the Month made (?JUNE?) I'll watch for this thread for the real/right answer. I Bet a bunch of folks wish they would start making the 6 rivet - (.050/.058 Ga - .375) tip again 48PV84
