That's my thinking on heated handles. On the other hand if it's that cold sit by the fire, take a cup, engage in indoor sports among consenting adults .

I wonder if adding about 1/2 oz to a gallon of bar oil would be any benefit?
Please no. *s-word gets too seriousCan we start a "What additive for your bar oil" thread now?
Just a thought but there has to be additive to add to the bar oil to reduce friction. Something that treats the chain and bar and stays put. Moly, zinc, teflon, silicone, etc???Snake oil.
Looks like it would be an additive for a 4 stroke engine with the Zinc.
Gotta be something too it Chevy but u know the naysayers will be flocking!!Not sure.
ZDDP is the primary antiwar additive in engine oil. I can't see it being of any use in bar oil.Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/280550757678
