I've been using the stuff for years as well as the mix oil with no problems what so ever .I suppose if it's cold as a well drillers azz you could thin it down .

On the other hand if it's that cold sit by the fire, take a cup, engage in indoor sports among consenting adults .

I'm of the opinion cheap bar oil is good bar oil. When I logged I used Walmart Supertech and never noticed decreased bar life. Thinned it with a bit of off road diesel in the winter.
Currently I am running Cam2 from Menards. It's a bit cheaper than Supertech.

Snake oil.

Looks like it would be an additive for a 4 stroke engine with the Zinc.
Just a thought but there has to be additive to add to the bar oil to reduce friction. Something that treats the chain and bar and stays put. Moly, zinc, teflon, silicone, etc???

That might be a good idea for winter oil. A good cutting agent.
