At 6$ a gallon it doesn't take much use at all to cover another cheap bar. At least that's my view on it. I run the woodcutter stihl in my pole saws because it's so thin, they struggle to oil... The tsc oil is a great summer oil but can be a little thick in the winter...

It is 5.00 per gal here. But the TSC I go to is almost across the street from another farm store (which also may have been running a sale, hence TSC running a lower price than the 6/gal I've been seeing here).

I've been using the TSC stuff for years w/o any problems at all, in all weather (Winter & Summer), and for milling.

The last time it was $6 I got 2 cases of it.

Brian, I can't use that stuff you are showing, it says it is only for PNW loggers!!!!!!

i only cut enough to get me though the winter i also burn coal when the weather gets brutal so really i don't use much wood and dont cut much.
I see , what is really cold there? We were lucky if we saw 22° a week out of the whole winter last year
