Looks like we all scored from that guy, I got an 084 with a smoked piston for $150 from him.

You suck.Scored this 371xp a few days ago for $80aud, seller said it was hard to turn over, turned out to be dry crank and piston bearing from sitting for so long.
Spins free now and just needs crank seals.View attachment 300348
Them are some good cutting saws.$10 Craftsman 3.3 (1996) @ Pawnshop.
Put $35 in it & cut 10 ricks of wood with it.
The one with no bar on bottom (I have 2).

You're welcomeThanks guys. I don't work on many saws this "new" This one jumped up on market place an hour away at 8pm last night. Priced right. The muffler has been modified and wearing an 8 pin 3/8 rim with a 24 inch bar. I think someone had given it some attention.

Yes....it is however is ok to score on a saw that has had a piston and cylinder score!I was reflecting on the title of this thread: So, it OK to 'score' on a saw, but NOT OK to 'score' a piston or cylinder?

If it's all original it is. The yr and the "air injection"(verses the "rancher") are the first clues.wouldnt be surprised if that 55 is a closed port
