Mine brute 12 volt corded chainsaw. Runs off a auto battery. Wonder if this is rare?

That’s cool, I’d keep it in the truck for an emergency

Picked these up today! I've been watching for a decent deal on a 5200 for a few years and this one popped up locally. Super excited about the 5200! Seems to run well but haven't put it in wood yet. The 2054 will run but doesn't like to restart. It will probably get passed along as a project unit.20210526_181344.jpg 20210526_181349.jpg

The brake was one and the chain was backwards. It runs good but is pretty light on oiling but that may be normal. I have a parts saw that was straight gassed on the first fill up. I took fuel and air filters from that and planning on gutting the muffler.

I just missed out on a new Dolmar PS-6100 for 250€ , ad got marked sold while I was writing a message to the seller.

Well, at least one of my recently purchased herd expansion units made it to Croatia and should arrive in a day or two. :D

The breaker and spinner are pretty cool, but that plate might be the real prize. It looks like it's set-up to do 3/4" pitch harvester chain.
Thanks,, probably is what its for,,the guy I got it from (selling for a friend) said it was used for harvester stuff, he just wasnt very specific,,,
The tie straps and presets seem to be 3/8.
Now some learning and practice.

Gutting the muffler is hardly worth it, the noticeable gains are in the ports. I measured about 5-8% from a 352 muffler mod, granted it started out with no cat, but it still had a lot of restriction in the front deflector. A 310 I muffler modded had no noticeable power gain, but I didn't do timed cuts. The 352 had big gains after porting.

I would say you made out like a bandit on the deal. Probably have about as much in fuel to/from as to what you paid for it. They are nice mowers.

Thanks, I sold it for $1500 and made $750 profit.

Snagged these today. Missing some parts so if anyone knows anything about Homelite breakers and spinners let me know.

They look exactly like the Herr set my neighbor gave me, except that yours say Homelite and mine say Herr. I'm gonna guess that Herr made them for Homie. Here's an interwebz pic I stole, @Philbert could probably tell you more about them. I still need to learn what A B and C are and where I can get a new little thingy that goes in the spinny side, mine looks kinda worn.
