The earliest pho 064 is 14.1lbs

You'll have to show me one on a scale. My 044 with big boy clutch cover and dawgs is about that much.

Every 064 I have seen on a scale has hovered closer to 15 lbs.

PDF and factory spec weights mean nothing. It's the main reason we started a chainsaw weight archive back on another site - manufacturers flat out lie or are incompetent when stating weights. Oftentimes when the weight is cited, it is without the clutch cover, which most would claim makes it very difficult to use a saw unless you want to run it hotsaw style. If you want to discuss weight with any real basis, you have to show the thing on a scale or quote the chainsaw weight archive. Otherwise, it's just speculation.

Feel free to strip it and place it on a scale and take a photo. I'll add it to my chainsaw weight archive.
Mine isnt the earlier 064 but a later and I had pics of PHO at one time but I cant findem now. My scale power adapter is broken so no dice at the moment. Im pretty sure with a 066 topend on the 64 u wont find a lighter 91cc saw?

Personally I dont get a saw to leave it stock much less anyone on here? If u r gonna test a 064 modify it to its full potential the same as your 461s are or u r pissin in the wind IMO

Did you read what I typed ?

I'm gonna run a ported 461 against a ported 064.

No tricks..straight up.

I hadnt ran a straight 064 much. Once I ran the 066 topend on it I knew the 64 wouldnt go back on. I hear Treemonkey can make a 650 topend on it roar!!

I'm sure he can make one roar...

But that's not what this is about, I wanna know by how much a ported 064 is gonna out cut my 461s in regular old logs.

If im looking at your postings isnt that a 064 in your first post at 15.43 lbs? If so thats only 3 ozs less of factory specs.thats pretty damn close.

I don't like ES bars Keith, they all seem front heavy to me (except the Light ones). My Chinese 660 balances perfectly with a 24" E bar, but unfortunately, they are NLA in 24".

The 20" E bars are much nicer on a 60 or 70 cc saw than the 20" ES bars also. I hefted a new 362 Ver II with a 20" ES bar in the shop and it was very front heavy. I would rather use a Ver I with a E bar and Ver II with an ES.
