Hes an arborist has his own tree sevice 2nd generation and a liutinent for the county fire dept and using recue saws there.im just repeating what he said.he says its smooth but aint got the torque as well

I know arborists and service owners who don't know Jack dick about saws..i work for one.

441s make plenty of torque for a 70cc saw.

I like mtronics and autotune until its haywire. Everyone Ive had on both brands had some sort of quirkiness

I don't really see any 044/440s anymore, wish I did. The two tree services I deal with mostly run 460/461s as their primary saws, have 660s for the big stuff, and top handles for the little stuff.

Most of the time I work on a 460 or 461. They seem to hold up much better since I started opening the mufflers and removing the carb limiters. The guys like the way they run better also.

An 064 weighs less than 14.7 lbs? Dolmar 7910 would probably give an 064 a run for its money, more comfortably...once again, just my opinion. I had alot of time behind my 7910
I agree theyd be close no question but for the weight diff and 5 more cc im goin 064.i was allways taught cant beat cubic inches.

You are right about cubes.

But I can tell you this much..some of the videos I see guys make for online forums it wouldn't matter what MMWSOPPXBQBR ported saw or whatever it is they run..they would get smoked in effiencey by a guy who knows what he's doing with a stock saw.

I have a crapsman I took out of a dumpster I cut railroad ties with and roots buried in the ground...i don't even know what model it is because all the decals are gone..that sumnabitch vibrates BAD.
That sounds like a woodshark

I mirror what @sawmikaze and @mdavlee said. Old saws do not compare to modern saws in a WORK environment. I've been trying to sell my 660 for a 661, because it's just on a different level. 064s and 64 hybrids are novelties. I would never use one for 7 hours a day.

I actually use saws for a living, just an idiots opinion...
Logic on a interwebz forum? Pfft

It never ends brother!!
