Interesting , never heard of those .It also looks like "Grip Fill" that someone squirted in there !!...

They like to build there mud nest in mufflers and clog them. big reason i run a screen.

I got some old Clinton's I'm working on. One is stuck and the other is missing the recoil. What a challange. It sure would be alot easier with the correct recoil to finish one of them. Anyone got a clinton super 250 recoil.

That is an 064 and when i cleaned it off I found a very nice BING carb!

I love the cable tie repair on Basher's 272 above.
I am going to remember that one!

There is nothing the world that cannot be fixed with duct tape and cable ties!

Very likely used a Fairbanks Morse rewind starter. Check out old lawnmowers from that era.

Also be aware they can be set up to operate either CW or CCW.
