It would be hard to copy the originals to their detriment.
I've used aftermarket ones and they've worked about the same as the OEM in my opinion.

Make sure you get one for a 461 or late version 460. Part # 1128-791-5501

Don't be fooled, the elbow is not plug & play on all 1128 family saws.

1128-791-5500 has a different angle and is slightly shorter, that was used on 044, 440, 046, and earlier 460's.

i dont know where to post this so i will start here. does anyone have a master control for a stihl 038 that they can look at to tell me if there is a piece broken off of the one in the saw im working on. it seems to me like there might be something missing.
