Ok weird one, I'm looking for a PL7 or SL7 A Remington piston and cylinder. In great condition NOS would be best.
Ive got mostly stihl and McCulloch saws some poulan and Homelite. I also have many old car parts Holley and Edelbrock carburetors from 600 to 850 cfm. Other stuff mostly mopar and some 70s F150 stuff. Old carburetors used to be my specialty from 1936 single pots too Predator variable venturi.
Possible green backs also.

I picked up 2 Stihl 201t rear handle saws. I need a few parts:

brake band
Trigger interlock

I think that a top handle 201 will work for a band , but I’m not sure about the interlock. I have a few things to trade or cashView attachment 256687
Pat, see if it’s the same one as one of your other Stihls. I’ve found them to be the same in most models.

If it’s the same, I’ll get one out to you, have a few.

Neighbor needs the front part of the muffler for a Husqvarna 55 made in about 2000. Used Oem preferred , cash or trade. I have mostly older stihl and a bit of Husqvarna, McCulloch, Echo, this and that.

Also looking for a nice OEM 046/MS460/MS461 fuel tank to replace the beat up one I've got. Doesn't have to be NOS, but still nice. Let me know if you've got one.

Any of you fart knockers need battery cables? I grabbed a few sets that were heading for recycling. Might have a nick or blemish/ need a terminal replaced or whatever. Basically used and not perfect enough to send out the door for retail customers.

Free you pay shipping.

If not I'll add them to my stash.

What do you guys recommend for Stihl screw on type gas & oil cap seals? I have a 028S with cracked seals, and my chinese 660 doesn't seal the gas in well.

I don't know, I just searched for the seals on ebay and only saw aftermarket new caps. New OEM fuel lines were plentiful enough. I was more so looking to get a few rubber rings to keep on hand instead of buying new caps.

It would be nice to stay with the old style caps too.

You can get the OEM cap seals from a dealer and that's the way to go. The seals that come on the Chinese caps are the wrong type of rubber for resistance to gas/ethanol.

0000 359 1220 is the sealing ring for the medium sized screw caps. 0000 359 1230 is the sealing ring for the large screw caps.

This is the route that I would go. Good advice. We expect nothing less from Jacob!

Does anyone have any old style chain brake parts for an 028? I have the brake flag and the spring and the washer, that's it I think it's the "U" shaped brake band. If what you have makes a full circle around the sprocket drum, that's not it.

Pretty sure even the early Quickstops used a circular band unless it's a variation of the short-lived isolating clutch setup used on some of the other saws of the era. I've not seen that in any of my 028 IPL's or early version 028AV / AVQ service manual.
Here's what is typical...

Looking for someone willing to trade a 28" bar for this 32" one. Similar quality and similar condition. It's a D009 mount and I got it 2ith a saw that I bought a couple of months ago. Previous owner said that it was only used a couple of times. No idea if that's true. I have more pictures of the rails and other side if curious. 20200907_122553.jpg 20200907_122609.jpg

As Jacob says they OEM 660 caps work the best … but it does not screw in smoothly on one of my Asian saws!!! (But it works, and works well on the rest of them).
