Pretty sure even the early Quickstops used a circular band unless it's a variation of the short-lived isolating clutch setup used on some of the other saws of the era. I've not seen that in any of my 028 IPL's or early version 028AV / AVQ service manual.
Here's what is typical...

I wish I took a picture of it, but this one doesn't have a place to put the band in the aft position. There is a screw hole there that holds the cover, but the webbing on the case is in the way for that type to go on.

Like this one:

I can help with some of these parts - It'll take me a couple days to dig through and see what I got.

I have some stuff here Dan. Gonna need a few days to get to it though.

Thanks DJ. I was gonna send you a PM, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Life's been a little on the hectic side lately. Lol.

Alright guys, Ive been working on these 3 150s that were given to me. Common issue with the 150s, people drop them and creates an air leak around the crankcase, then burns out the top end. Got 3 new oem top ends but for the life of me, cant figure out how to spilt the small ms150s crank cases to re- dirko them. Ive tried every tool stihl makes and Im just stumped.

Actually, you should almost be able to pull the case apart by hand -- once you get the screws out and the circlip removed on the clutch side. Hafta know it's there, first. May be what's giving you grief.

I used the same puller but when I used it, like illustrated, puller pulled the screws out of the casing. I did have everything off that was necessary. Just was giving me grief.
