I'm not knocking diesels, but initial cost, and repairs are alot more expensive than the gas counterparts, but you do get better fuel mileage, and cheaper fuel which helps offset the other costs.

only diesel's I own are my tractors, Ive never actaully owned a diesel truck, with that said I am in the process to possiby buy a 1991 dodge 1 ton with a 12 valve and a 5 speed.

Spray tinted the 3rd brake light on my truck this morning, turned out decent. On my way to towny tailgate fell open again, always been funky just falls down here and there and I *s-word it 10 seconds later tho fell down again and would not close. Lost a spring for the latch on driver's side. Never liked to latch on both sides, preferred latching only on driver's side. So I left it open. Gotta take a better look at it and get it working again, or get one of them rubber ones. On my way home I heard something hit the pavement at 50 mph, I thought it was the tailgate, but it was the passenger side running board. Rachet strap fixed that until I bolt it back up and maybe get new rubber mounts. Haven't fixed the bed issue yet either. Know a guy that can have a diamond plate flatbed made for a grand tho. While pulled over to strap up the running board a hillbilly in a lifted GMC obs stopped to see if I needed help, nice guy, cool clapped out gm truck too. Gotta love the rust belt. Also some say that I'm the most prepared person they know in the spare tire department.1000004596.jpg1000004595.jpg1000004598.jpg

Went to get cattle panels for my dad and lumber for me to build short sides for my trailer today.
Seen a yard sale so had to stop and good thing I did cuz I scored this John Deere blower for $10 and it's just a little absolute powerhouse and the lady threw in a beat up yard trailer and propane tank for free, gonna give the trailer to my grandma.
The passenger side running board fell the rest of the way off my Silverado today. Gonna have to get a step stool for my grandma lol.

Got all these units as a package deal for $40. They all ran a few years ago. Little wonder cultivator with kioritz motor may end up going to my grandma since her modern MC43 earthquake cultivator is a money pit. The Toro snow pup is going to be a fun project but I am not a big Toro collector and don't have much of a use for it so it will probably be sold or traded after I fix it, but I won't let it go cheap being so neat. As much as I love having cub cadet stuff these little blowers are no use here and it's barely vintage. This will also be fixed and then sold for as much as I can possibly get or trade it. I'll probably give both blowers a change at my drive this winter if they don't sell before then.1000004818.jpg

All the puppy needed was a gas tank cleaning and quite a bit of priming to bring her back to life. Going to use it a little this winter but probably sell it after I get a taste for it.
The cub cadet fired up first pull somehow, all I did was add fresh gas to the bit of old gas and prime it a few times. This will be for sale or trade.
The little wonder kioritz cultivator on the other hand seems to need a carb rebuild at a minimum.

Ive seen people use smaller snow blowers like those for clearing snow from roofs, I've personally never done that before, but it seems like it works okay.
