Got a saw i have been wanting for a long time today. During my early morning Craigslist scroll I came across a Stihl 041 farm boss running with new bar and chain for $175. I traded $25, sears craftsman generator project, homelite zip chainsaw project, Simpson pressure washer project, 2 plastic toolboxes, fishing net, minnow bucket, vase, sumo pump basin, Polaris ATV fender, toy ships, and wheel covers for it. I was happy to finally have an 041 FarmBoss and get rid of all my leftover inventory before I move tomorrow. It is not often that I get a saw that doesn't need any type of repair.
Got new tires installed on my AC 610 and the front of my jd s92. 1000004148.jpg1000004149.jpg
I went to the scrap yard this morning with my 16 foot trailer and my truck bed full of copper and cans and metal, made some good money on that load, didn't get a picture, it was my trailers first trip other than bringing it home.

I did a junk removal job today, 2 most valuable items are pictured. With the money from the removal I bought me a Stihl sea 20 vacuum kit and some 2 stroke oil and fuel filters as well as lunch at Dairy Queen. I took some stuff to the scrap yard and I have a little left for the landfill tomorrow.1000004205.jpg1000004203.jpg1000004204.jpg

Late last night I was driving our Honda xr150 dual sport and a fly got into one of my eyes. This morning it seemed to turn into pink eye which I never had before.
In better news, I've added yet another lawn boy to my fleet, only gave $25 for it, turns over, model 3050, just ordered an air filter, I need an air filter cover tho, anyone got one to sell or trade? 1000004295.jpg

A death in the family can leave a lot of things like that behind.
Take a look through Craigslist ads and the estate sales and then the free sections.
The free section will often have a few photos of the things that didn't go at the estate sales.

Nice, I have a 98 F-250 with 404,000, got it for $1,000, running great finally after chasing down a few relatively small issues.
Cool.
I made an offer on the one I want since his price was obo. It currently does absolutely nothing, he thought it was an electrical issue, a year ago or so it didn't start so he replaced the solenoid and it started once but never again. That's all he told me about that. Tires are low on tread, it has an edge tuner, it isn't as rusty as my Silverado, supposed the auto trans shifted fine.

I bought mine from a junk yard, it needs new tires, these are cracking some. I had a mis-fire issue that fixed with a new coil pack, starter issue that fixed with a new starter and a head gasket leak that fixed with some mechanic in a bottle. There are other smaller issues that I am working on as I go like the cruise control, 4 wheel low not engaging, dim lights in the instrument cluster and dirt that seems to be packed in everywhere. Hey, the tape player works, so now I have something I can play my cassette tapes in! I have not tested the CD player yet. I am sure I will be finding stuff for a while. Very little rust on this truck!

My Silverados odometer says like 139k, we know that 2 owners ago messed with it to make it sell better and with the knowledge we had we thought it had around 205k. Well I took the truck to O'Reilly's yesterday for a veriscan so they read the computer to check the codes which is separate from the odometer evidently and it read 284K miles.

valve cover gaskets are the wiring harness to injectors, very common that 1 side has failed causing a no start condition. if canadian made truck than a higher dollar scan tool is needed to scan them.

honestly if your gonna play with the diesel trucks get ready to get your wallet emptied.
