That’s great if you have the tools and time,but what would a shop charge? $200 minimum, and probably more! I have hade sleeves done on motorcycles before and it isn’t cheap! I have picked up several 101 block well under $200, and some great deals on complete block crank head assemblies for under $200 as well. Honestly it’s not a bad option for a bad bore 125! Parts prices aren’t getting more affordable!

There have been several on eBay, you probably don’t like the pricing? There were a couple of good deals on complete 101’s last winter, 3-4 complete motors, buy it now for $400-600

My example of a iron cylinder was just an option because I realize not everybody has the resources to do same .It was only because of the rarity I even attempted it .Believe me I had to think this little project through because I'd never done it before .
I know a lot of "builders " who build some of the fastest hot saw chainsaws in the country who have no metal working machinery .They spend a lot of money though but they have great saws . There's more than one way to skin the same cat they say .

I am looking for a grommet or bushing for a Promac 10-10 gas tank so I can use common fuel line. I ordered a gas line on ebay but it was junk. Any help? Thanks.

Doesn't seem to be a common or convenient solution for that particular problem. The subject was raised not long ago and there is supposedly a grommet included in a variety pack from HF or NT that does the trick, or maybe McMaster-Carr? Can't remember exactly. Rich Dougan used to sell a grommet/fuel line combination kit for 10-10's but doesn't seem to be active with that stuff any more. If you still have the original fuel line and it only weeps at the tank opening but is still good otherwise, I've heard guys having success using a few wraps of Teflon tape. I think someone else may have come up with an arrangement of multiple diameters of fuel lines until getting the right combination to make both a tight O.D. and I.D. seal. A real pain in the ass without a handy solution any way ya look at it. Finding a source for the right grommet would be like gold for the 10-10's. Maybe Dougan will give up his source if someone asks him real polite like? LOL

Is he Hotsaws 101? I saw his video but there is no ordering info. It leaks at barb on the carb. I am working on it for a friend.

I think these will work with a 5/16" O.D. fuel line and the larger OEM barb on the carburetor. Be sure you use Buna-N (Nitrile) and not SBR for service with fuel.
