Those's more. The SP81 and SP81E (I think you were referring to one or both of those)
800, 805, 850 super, DE80, 8200 and I think Mark's 82cc model from Japan is CP80DX

I never see anyone refer to the 4300, 70cc? saw. Are they rare?

They are not very common at all. Yep 70cc 4.3 ci engine.

With it being RH Start,

I’ll guess CP-70?

The IPL of the cp 70 shows the decomp coming out the side of the cylinder .I can't tell if it's a linkage type thing like a 6-10 or not from the drawings .However being a McCulloch it could be anything ,maybe an SP 70 or a 700 under the shrouding .You get a pile of McCulloch parts it's hard to say what red headed step child might emerge .

No AV so that rules out some models. It looks like a Frankensaw to me. I guess it could have a 57cc, 62cc, 70cc motor swapped in

Not a cp-70. No a/v and the compression release is a lever above the muffler. Joe is right. When you get it take a picture of the cylinder fins by the muffler. You can tell by the lenth of them.

Certainly a Frank. There were no RH start saws with a pop up compression release.

On the plus side, it has to be more than a 54cc model to have a pop up.

I hope you guys laugh like I did when I picked the saw up. Check out what looked like the decomp button. Got it for $10. Nice old style AF in it.
I think the bar would take an .075 ga chain it's so worn.

Yep 10-10. Have some of it apart now. It's old and much used but the comp feels good and the cylinder doesn't look any worse than the usual 10-10. One starter pawl spring is missing and the starter is pretty beat up. Not sure if I should make it a runner or just use it for parts. It would likely never get used by me anyway.

Muffler cover looks good and I don't see any spent oil under the muffler so the duct is likely good as well.

One of the cleanest old saws I've taken apart.

The saw has been chipped. I am hoping there's a set of points and the trimmings in the ignition box. I don't see a condenser but I have one of those.

I could do a plug boot mod with some Goop.

I'm working on a project to help one of our fellow members with a need. Anyone out there have a muffler or muffler parts, and/or the lightweight cylinder shroud for an SP81?

I need to get this finished up in the next 10 days or so in order to get it sent out for the NY GTG.
