Last question I promise!
Google says i need to set the points but not how to...
Presume it's the amount of gap on this little widgit.
Any tricks here before I put the cap on?

Right around .019 at TDC of piston, loosen screw slightly so points move with pressure, with screw driver. and use feeler gauge so slides snugly between points and tighten screw and check again,

Most of if not all the cork gaskets are neoprene infused and very, very tough. I have a hard if not impossible time cutting it with my laser cleanly. They are mostly 1/16 thick. I can do it on my CNC mill but again the cork doesn't cut cleanly. Brian G. Has more experience with that material, I gave up. 🤣
Hi Cinci/hacskaroly,

I've found that knife cutting cork is the only real good option. Lasers just don't work very well for them. Here's a video of my flatbed cutter (60"x120") cutting 1/8" thick cork fuel tank gaskets.

I appreciate the information!! I bought the larger knife blade for my wife's Cricut, but have not used it yet. I tried to do a test cut on 1/8" cork, but tried it with the rotary cutter. It failed, probably because I did not tape the cork down to the mat, the sticky on the mat was not enough to hold it. I need to try again with the Cricut and the knife blade plus taping the cork to the mat and see how that goes. I was trying to make reed plate insulator for my 200. I ended up making three copies from thinner material and will look to glue them together to get to the 1/8" thickness and see how that goes!

Definitely a MAC15. Thistle seems to know more about the chronology of the MAC15 models than I do, I can't remember if the black tanks or yellow tanks came first.

The MAC15 was supposed to be an attempt by McCulloch at a "consumer" type saw. Detuned 80cc engine, gravity feed fuel system, very basic construction.
