Let's see a photo of the flywheel side with the flywheel off just to confirm, the seal pressed into the bearing might look like it is pressed into a sleeve in the bore.

How about one of the crank out of the casing?0714211854.jpg 0714211645a.jpg
I may be able to find these locally.
Rings are my main concern at this point.
I'm going to clean the old ones a little better this afternoon and see if I can get some more info on them.

And some lacquer thinner should make quick work of that varnish.

Looks like ring set is pn-92517.
Small seal is pn-110260
Large seal is pn-67906.

HA! That thing is a creampuff under the grime. I noticed that the tank still had a piece of the tar strip in the air box, thats a good sign that it was never apart ,except maybe a dealer. Even the handle has most of the paint.
If you can't find rings you can always flip top to bottom, the bottom is hardly ever worn and the top will do what it needs to in the bottom grove.

I'm no expert but I'm gonna say an 82cc with a fair amount of certainty. Sp80 most likely, I know there was some mounting differences in a few of the 82cc saws but sp60,70,and 80 should interchange.

That was my hope to jump up 6 or 8 cc. This jug is gouged looking down the carb hole. It's hurt bad. Rotates 320*
The rest is good. I'm sure it needs rubber in places like new fuel lines.

I real problem with any of these swaps up is finding a good 82cc motor, not impossible but difficult.

Yep. Never had a tank gasket replaced anyhow.
All of the screws are still in it and not buggered up. Whoever had it just ran it til it wore the rings out. The plating had come off several spots in the cylinder. Ive got a good cylinder from the one my dad had a tree fall on, but those rings are shot too. Both top and bottom are over .030" end gap.

0.045" are in fact the thick rings. Thin rings are tool steel and 0.022" thick. 92517 are the correct rings if there are no locating pins. You have the correct seal numbers, let me know if you can't find them elsewhere.

The good part is the 70cc cylinders are plentiful in 700 or 710 I was told.
This is some what true but the mounts are cast in the av saws ,so I think you'll have to swap out the top end and keep your original oil tank to retain the av mount. If I'm wrong someone hopefully will correct me.
