Found this picture on the web, McCulloch kart con rod. Looks pretty stout.
View attachment 254677

That's a "Hypoid" rod - made for the 101 and 91/92/93 racing engines. I believe they came out after Wiseco started making the huge oversize pistons which put a lot of pressure on the stock conrods. I had a couple of them but traded them for a full-circle Mc91 crank.

Thanks Jacob.

I have had the 80 for awhile and the 81 recently came out of a dump.

I brought the 850 home today. I'll need the change the seals for insurance and go through it. Tons the compression.

The 80 and 81 are stout runners.

I've unlocked a couple of motors in the past year , patience and chemicals are your friends in that department. If it's not the starter housing dont despair.
Even if its toast, its got some good parts that im needing for some others. The other one i posted is missing a muffler, and rhis one has an excellent one.

The SP80 with the cold weather kit makes me a little jealous...now I need to add something more to my McWish List.

There was a mighty storm with a derecho wind of over 100 MPH that went through Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Monday afternoon and uprooted or destroyed at least 10 large trees on my daughter and son in law's place. The storm started in South Dakota and wreaked havoc all he way through Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and parts of Wisconsin and Michigan as well. I spent the week down there assisting in clean up, mostly documented over on AS in a separate thread. There will be some areas without electrical service for 10 days or more.

Their house made it with very minimal damage but the power and internet lines are down and it seems unlikely the crews will get to their neighbor hood any time soon. I would like to be there to see how they deal with this one.

Our part of the tree clean up is nearly done, there will be the need for a lot of landscaping, fence repair, and replacing the garden shed at some point. So far we hauled all of the brush to the curb for pick up but there will be several loads of logs to carry away. The birch trees aren't really worth saving for firewood but we did keep most of the oak and mulberry. The birch that is still overhanging the house will require special intervention.

Heck of a mess there and thank goodness for Dad's

If you have the SP80 muffler kit but no AF cover I would be happy to swap you mine for a regular 80 cover.

Sunday funday, figured may as well work on this 7-10. a little cleaning, reseal the crankcase and new crank seals. We have another good running Mac. I didnt even kit the carb on this one. I do need a muffler cover for this one if anyone has anything sitting around and still need the proper screws for the recoil.

So after a long Covid induced wait i was finally able to go retrieve my mail in Alaska.Usually a friend brings up the mail in the winter and my company imports containers in the summer.
I finally have a 125 after a few deals that didn't happen for a few reasons.
This one has identity issues so at some point it will need to be addressed.
Good news i did know it was scored and bought accordingly,i hope.
So i need contact info for someone that can help me with this block and a Kart block that need to be bored.I don't know if the block is original,i assumed it had the wrong muffler, but it looks like the right one for the block, but not for the SP125C.I have never had my hands on a 125 so i know little, just what i have read and that doesn't always stick around for long.
I figured sort out the mechanical first then comes the cosmetic's.
Thanks

I didnt figure you did lol....... I now have the 3-10E on the bench to begin work on it. I am still kind of undecided whether to mess with the bullfrog or not.
I do know i really want that electric start working!! Lol. It is such a neat thing to me!

I had brought a 3-10E back from the dead! Even built a battery for it. Took a few years to source all the parts for it.

As you probably saw, the big part I'm missing is the battery box, if I can find that, the rest should be a piece of cake. Currently gonna work on getting it running and see if I can get the electric start working off a drill battery while I'm looking for the right battery box.

Their home is near Glass Road, NW part of town. They were told they should have power by midnight tonight, it was not on when my SIL left around 6:00 PM...the crew had been there this week and took care of the broken top that was over some of their wires in back. I wish I could have been there, I would be very interested to know how they managed it.

That oak stem is still sticking up and will have to come down at some point, as soon as we can clear a path to drop it. I will be back on sight tomorrow getting some of the excess logs cut, split, and hauled out.

Mini Macs come in two different types .Those that run great and those that do not run at all .There doesn't seem to be any middle ground .
Hoping this one is one of the former...
Mac 130. Looks really low hours. Needs a carb kit and probably a check valve repair for the oiler.

The block in the last pic is a sp125 block not a kart block, more pics would be needed to help in other ways. A magnet will tell you if it’s bore able.
