I pulled a PM6 apart today in order to provide an oil tank for someone in need. I am also still working on getting my McCulloch documentation sorted out and organized in the new building.

I also had a Poulan Pro 220 apart this morning to replace the intake gasket, and put a Husqvarna 435 together this afternoon with a new piston but the metering diaphragm was stiff so I have that one apart again.

I pulled the SP81 down to the short block today. Intake boot was improperly installed, the spring was mounted between the boot and the air box instead of between the boot and the engine plate. Also think this might be why the kill switch was intermittent (see photo)
What should I be looking for for an inop manual oiler? Never had that before, also, I dont think the auto oiler is doing as much as it should.

Both the manual and automatic oiler rely on the disc check valve under the manual pump, and the ball check valve in the automatic oil pump. Make sure the ball check valve in the automatic pump is working.

We used Loctite green retaining compound on a crankshaft bearing pocket on a 1600 ton eccentric geared straight side draw press. It worked perfectly.

I got around to taking photo of the green loctite I’ve used. It was 640 maybe same as you used. Mentions parts can be returned to service in 1 hour. Hardens in 4 hrs, cures in 10 hrs. Says can use Loctite Klean N’ Prime 2556 to quicken cure time.

It's hard to beat that sound.
Yeah, I hooked my Bluetooth speaker to the phone and had another listen. Sounds dang sexy!
I just cant keep from blipping the throttle between cuts, especially the 7-10A. That thing just has the best exhaust note of all. The 1010S and PM700 both sound good, but that one has a special tone. Like that song that comes on when your driving, and next thing you know youre going way too fast.

Got my 797 running pretty good, put a carb kit in and it was running funny, so I put an ignition chip and she is running decent.View attachment 238745
Who do you get ignition chips from? I would like to buy from someone closer to the Pacific northwest.

Did a little milling with the Pro Mac 700 , if they would just make .404 in .050 again I'd love it! Using a loop of old Stihl #5 I found. Only milled some small cedar for a buddy but man did the 700 fly through it.20200503_171128.jpg 20200503_171116.jpg 20200503_171055.jpg

Got some kart intakes for some upcoming projects and a larger carb to try on a the 797, it’s a .996 bore hLView attachment 238899View attachment 238900

I run a 1 inch bore HL on my 101 in a 797 chassis, Runs really well and strong. Not quite as
strong as a big carby would be but it isn't a bad combo. Great for a stock looking saw.
