When I was a youngster one of my Grandmothers had chickens that laid green eggs, I was amazed but totally bummed out when she cracked one open & it had a yellow yolk.

Kinda like the purple (stringless very tender) beans that turned dark green when cooked. We as kids were not happy with the color change.. But they were very tasty anyway...

What do they bring a ton?
Cause orchards, we measure in pounds lul ‍♀️ While my mates are making $370/ton for garbage, rained on alfalfa, I am hopeful to hit $1.85/lb on sweet cherry. Simple, but confusing math for me, puts that at $3,700/ton. Acreage ain’t what my buds are doing under pivots and wheel lines, that is a for sure.

I'm heading out to clear thick woods for fence line right now. Not nearly as bad as what you are doing @ajschainsaws. Temps are finally below 90, so I need to get cracking...

Yes get going while it's cooler if you can cut and keep the the sun off your back it's better

Here's a little bit of what I was working on. This section didn't have any trees greater than 5" to clear, but there was massive amounts of vines and brush mixed in. It was particularly tricky with the slope. Slow and careful with the tractor. It took almost 2 hrs to clear from the tractor down to the post in this picture. Sorry I didn't get a "before" pictures.PXL_20220816_211134148.jpg
