Expensive week. PTO shaft on the cutter and a couple of locked up bearings on the baler to get to this point tonight. Three nights this week I left work and headed straight to my parents to work on equipment until dark or later. Should be able to finish first cutting tomorrow.

Sounds like a normal year of baling with my buddies. Especially cornstalks. They seem to be a bit harder on the balers.

Just baled about 10 acres of thin stuff. No issues. Glory.

What rake are you running?

Vermeer R2300. Hydraulic driven twin basket that is controlled from the seat. Pull the safety pins and you can open/close, change windrow size and turn the baskets on/off and never get off the tractor.

Moving the last of my first cutting into the barn today. I'm glad to finally be done with hay.....for now.

The old Hesston has been flawless since the repairs. Made well over 200 4 x 6 bales.
