Cow’s taste better at least.

But I agree that it’s not a good way to get rich or even turn a profit unless you can sell directly to customers.
Yep. I do it for the flavor. They’re more work than they’re worth to me but honestly I like looking at em. Enough I’ll probably always have some around. Grew up with em.

Here’s the old girl, I think he said it was from the 40’s. Once I get some hay dried down I’ll hook a rake up to it and go to work.
I talked to my neighbor today. He said those would pull 3 bottom plows on basically any kind of ground. He had a lot of love for farmalls. He was headed to a show with his h tomorrow and then 4th of July. I should snag a picture. Y’all might like her. She’s clean.

Got this field baled up today, took the picture Friday, made 7 wagons of squares and it’s all really nice 75/25 orchard grass/timothy. Plus we got about 40 rounds out two other fields so I’m very pleased. Got more 10-15 acre fields to do but we’re almost done with the good stuff.

Someone got mad and hammer fisted the dash ??
Funny story. I was hauling fuel. Jamming to tunes tapped the dash and it splintered like an egg. Yeah it’s a dodge thing. She’s a 94. 209000. Original everything. Been a good truck. We just dolly fuel in it. Figure I’ll keep running it till something expensive happens

Hell sounds like she’s probably paid for herself by now, I’d run it. I need a good dedicated farm /woods truck myself

It’s got 4 different sized tires on it. It’s just a work beater. My uncle bought it new. She’s not much now. But it still goes

Just getting started, should have a large garden in by fall. Had chickens for the past 4 years and just increased the flock ( currently egg layer ) but plan for some free range meat birds soon. I have 6 acres ( purchased a year ago ) have morrels and plan to start hunting the land. Trying to convert to self sustained homestead.
